Today is the LAST day of my overall workout before heading to Jersey tomorrow for OCB BATTLE OF THE BELT....  I can't wait!!!  I'm excited, nervous, but ready to get this thing done.  I worked very hard and no matter how I come out..  I already know I'VE WON!!! 

I feel amazing with plenty of energy today.  Cardio should be a breeze....  I will do some isolated exercises this afternoon, eat and definitely try to hit the sack early to be well rested in the a.m.

I'm  145 pounds, 27 inch waistline and 36 inch hips.  I'm still drinking plenty of water and eating all my meals as instructed.  This was really an eye opener in so many ways.  I need to stay close to gaining no more than 15 pounds during off season.  Then next year it won't be an uphill battle to get stage ready....

Up early 100 abs...  Today I get 130 protein but 170 carbs (wooo hooo) 35 fat.  This will be a beautiful EATING day if nothing else.. LOL  I see nuts and more than a sprinkle of rice in meals to come.

Did BACK and BICEPS yesterday.  All water, cardio and meals accordingly.  I was having some dizzy spells which after eating a little more carbs did the trick.  Low carbs is no joke especially when the workday consist of various projects which require you to be on your feet. 

Today I will get my LAST full body workout with trainer.  Will lower my training days to 4-6 times a month for off season.  Yes, there's a life peeking filled with dinner, dancing and movie dates :-)  At least until later this year for I would like to compete early next Spring.

Overall energy level is decent this morning.  No headaches, hunger pains, dizziness, etc.  I feel more normal and I'm sure its because I'm pump'n up the carbs!  After just my 1st meal I felt bigger and fuller...  lol  Funny I was craving nuts as if I was part squirrel.  Ate a few after arriving to work and they just didn't do it.  I need dark chocolate :-)

Competition days are winding down now..  The 25th marks the last show for me this year.  It was an AMAZING journey that I surely will never forget.  Sort of a bitter sweet ending for I'm tired but not ready to sit down just yet.  Joe, I can't begin to thank you enough for such a HARD but proven effective method to prepare me for each show.  Next year I plan to come back tighter/leaner and hopefully that much better to compete in early Spring shows.  Then I'll see about the Summer afterwards.  I will be contacting you for an offseason plan and see about checking in with you like once a month or every 3 months.  So in other words THIS IS NOT THE END :-)

Blogging for sanity at this point... 

Up and hit 100 abs...  Can't move without potty runs constantly being made.  I had some close calls in my commute home from work and vice versa..  Not nice :-(

Banged out LEGS last night.  Was pretty good even though I'm weak made it through.  Felt average after finishing and hit cardio arc trainer for an additional 20 minutes that I didn't belt out earlier in the day. 

Body looks hard and flat as predicted.  I actually see more separation now then during last showtime.  Will this be me come Saturday possibly hard look'n but full?

Either way this is it and I hope I do ya proud but I know my legs aren't hard enough and that's where my work will be placed on off season mostly.

5 days out!!!

No abs this morning...  Rolled out of bed with a blank stare on my face.  Its not vacation time yet :-(

High cardio both days Sat/Sunday and now back to weights & cardio today.  Help ...

I just need to be sitting somewhere with a bag of nuts in my lap and a drink with an umbrella in the other :-)

Body looks very hard now.  It actually looks harder than the 1st show around this time. I keep starring at my abs in mirror.

Energy level is just okay today.

Just ate at 11 o'clock and its just noon and I'm freak'n geekn for anything to chew on...  Gum, mint and baby's cracker even will do...

Up and did my abs.

Scale actually lighten up a pound or so.  Getting water down, exercising and doing my cardio as instructed.

7 days out and I'm struggling...  I just need to stay focused and try to make it til next Friday.  Another Hoaggie with the works have me smile'n hard inside.

Body looks different and bloated to me.  Can't really explain but don't look as full.  I guess I'm suppose to look flat again huh? 

Did Biceps/Chest and then cardio with Vee, last night.  Good workout but feeling jive weak now.  Just put a slice of banana nut bread in my pie hole already!  Ok, ok, then some nuts..  "ONE" nut...  sigh

I guess this is the leanest I'll be for the 25th.  It is what it is at this point.

 8 days til OCB Battle of the Belts in Jersey

Ok, up this morning and only belted out 100 abs.  Body is nice and tired now.  Last night's workout was Legs but he touched my back and delts too.  Feeling fatigued and achy at this point.  I pushed through the exercises which he made some lighter just higher reps.  All of it hurts now.  I so need to get to next Saturday hopefully a little leaner and be done for the year.. 

Appetite is huge as always but food starting to make me feel ill after consumed.  Must be my body aboput to reject until it get that "sugar" fix.  At this point it could be a few extra nuts.. Just anything without weighing or counting :-(  Water intake is about to float me away.....

Overall my strength is weakening somewhat and its due to the low carbs I'm sure. 

My weight apparently is going UP UP UP from the water intake.  Can't be much of anything else even though I did down a few pickles and my mustard yesteday.  I'm like 6 pounds heavier. 

Well, I certainly hope I'm not the FAT GURL on stage this time.  Doing weights, cardio sessions and posing practice.  Trying to look leaner in the ab area since the legs aren't deeply in yet.

Up and mixed up 200 ab exercises to get me started.

Yesterday knocked out cardio and did BACK & DELTS/SHOULDERS.  Felt as if I never had Saturday and Sunday off.  Everything was tight and hurting again.  Got a freebie from a trainer that stretched me out.. 

Today I'll hit LEGS with trainer.  Basically he does all over but targets legs more.

Sleeping very well and feel strong.  I just want to be even better than my 1st show.  I thank God for my blessings thus far and those to come.  I just can't seem to get my lower stomach to flatten out these days.  In the past I never ever had any issues but now...hmmmmm  Just looks fat to me :-(

WOW, what a journey is all I'm saying.  Still feeling the weight of my very 1st Competition.  I placed 1st in the Women BB Open and 2nd in the Women BB 35+ divisions.  I'm very proud that I was able to make it to the stage alone.  The feet are damp now and I'm ready to move forward with the upcoming Jersey, OCB Battle of the Belts Comp which is 10 days away.. YAY!!!

I really had a GREAT time and the experience was priceless.

Hit gym yesterday (Monday, 13th) and did my upper shoulders/triceps and then high intensity cardio.

Up early this morning and hit abs.

Have back this evening and will knock out another round of high intensity cardio during lunch hour today. 

There is a TIGHTER me, waiting on the inside I just know it is!!!

August 7th 2012

4 DAYS OUT AND COUNTING!

Up and banged out abs along with some pushups and planks.

Yesterday's workout was good.  Did my own thing, high reps low weights which was good.  Didn't feel over stretched and was able to hop on bike and unload the cardio.

My body feels good and surprisingly I'm not as fatigue as I thought I would be.  Still want stuff that's never going to change.  However, its like fading slowly but surely now or should I say getting more tolerable knowing that I can't have it.

All this water is about to float me away.  Felt sick lastnight after drinking last 6 oz or so.  Thought it was all coming back up but luckly nothing.  No tums just showered and laid down.  That took care of it and then came the potty runs... all throughout the night. sigh

After today I go from 90 to 170 carbs...!!!  I MIGHT LOSE MY DAM MIND on this one!!!  LOLOLOL 

Body is definitely looking flat at this stage with the droopy skin thing going on that I can't wait to FILL BACK OUT!!!

5 DAYS OUT!!!

Today up and did my 200+ abs...  Laid on the floor stretched out longer than I normally do.  Just needed to regroup and think about my next move.  "TO GET THE HECK UP.."  LOL

Leg this evening.  Training myself since its on a Monday. :-(

Well, I'm proud to say I made it through my 75 carb day and now have graduated on to 90 carb days if you think that's an improvement.  What's an ounce of sweet potatoes. I'll take that over a sprinkle of rice hahaha.  I'm feeling some what tired but not as I expected.  My thoughts are slipping making me feel like I'm losing it here and there.  But all in all I'm good.  I stay hungry, so that's no surprise and all this water.. Well, if I wasn't in the bathroom most of my day I might can actually get some work done...  

Body steadily changing each night really.  I've lost exactly a pound in weight plus for an extra bonus .5 inch off my hips and the nerve to have lost dam near an inch from in my chest (nooooooooooooo).  Its just like you stated Joe, the body looks so lean but flat.  No complaints here whatsoever.  Ran yesterday only did 3 quick miles as I pushed my grandson in his stroller watching him down that beautiful sweet banana...hahaha  Did a mile of wind sprints as well.

Up and knocked out 200+ abs.

Feeling blonde here lately.  Not myself at all..  These low carb days have me feeling delayed especially since no gum or mints are allowed either.  Fading in weight and strength somewhat.  Not feeling tired but more so just craving stuff and since I can't have it (just like a kid) I go around pouting.  People avoid me please because today isn't the day.  I have 4 more days of this too...  Even the pooch stare at me funny knowing I have a tude.. LOL 

Trained entire body yesterday with Trainer.  Very good but very hard hard hard workout.  Might be due to strength decline a bit but I pushed through as always.  People admiring my physique but aren't willing to put in the time or dedication to achieve it.  I accomplished the look that's for sure...  Will be so much nicer come the 25th too!  The DAYTONA BEACH BOUND!!!  

Right now I just feel like KICK'N SOME ROCKS... *arms folded*

HAPPY "AUGUST"

Up knocked out 200 various abs. Surprisingly, not tired at all "YET" lol.  Even with the cardio in place I'm managing to stay above water.

Yesterday's workout was different.  Trainer surprised me with a full body workout instead of just legs.  I love those types of workouts and it gave my legs an additional break.  Now tonight I can't say what's the deal but I know the legs will be punished.  *biting nails*

Things are shaping up and my body is surprising me on a regular now.  I see something different just about every day I peer in the mirror.  WOW wow WOOOWEEE is all I'm saying :-)  Separation and striations are on the rise!!! 

No more gum/mints just food and water at this point.  *blank stare*

After this week, I'll be Exactly 1 week out until my FIRST show.  Purchased my suits and shout outs to Anne for doing a WONDERFUL job with them.  Just beautiful...

Up this morning and did 200+ ab work.  Today is upper shoulders and delts.  Will go a tad bit harder with the workouts.  Next week workouts should and will be more lighter.  My entire body is fatigued at this point.  It hurts to smile...  My legs did come in a little more but hopefully by the 25th they'll be nice and CRISPIER for that will be my peak show!!!

Almost 2 weeks out from 1st OCB show...

July 26, 2012

Up and did the usual over 200 ab exercises.  Plus put a few planks in the mix.

Worked legs last night and survived.  Had me on smith machine doing reverse lunges with knee tucks at the top.  I didn't think my body could burn so bad.  He added a few back exercises to sweeten the pot if that's what he meant to do.  All those leg presses, leg ext, hamstring curls, etc.  I was out of energy at the end.  Head hanging low and didn't care who saw me..  Ok, ok, I must admit, I wasn't completely out for I had enough energy to do a little shopping.. LOL  Always energy for that!!!

I just want some oreo ice cream is that so bad!!!!  Ok, ok focusing once again..  I think I'm going to be a machine by the 25th of August.  I guess this body is built better than FORD TOUGH because its definitley do the dam thang!!!

WOW - 3 Weeks out (July 23, 2012)

Up and knocked out 200+ abs...  What a crazy weekend this was.

Didn't do my posing on Friday or regular leg workout this Saturday.  Had so much on my plate had to shuffle some things around.  Did Friday's workout on Saturday and Saturday's Leg workout on Sunday.  Got thumbs up on my legs as they continue to melt showing more and more of the separation and desired cuts.  I actually DO HAVE A HAMSTRING.. LOL  Pump'n out all the cardio and trying to imagine myself on stage.

Energy is still good at this point.  Probably because I'm focusing on so many other things (home life/food/suit/food/stage/chocolate cake/sigh).

I am wanting stuff more and more.  Caved in Saturday and nibbled on my grandbaby's pizza..  Wasn't enough to do much damage but all the same I couldn't control myself :-(  Was about the size you put in a toddler's mouth for tasting.    Had mustard on my salad twice so hopefully that water weight flushes out before or by Friday.

Cardio is getting done and I'm sleeping like a rock here lately.  Dreams and all but still feel like I've had good sleep which is a plus when I awake.

Well 3 more weeks and its SHOWTIME!!! 

Up and been doing my abs faithfully over 200 a morning.  Sleeping good and overall energy level is decent.  My trainer is really putting the stank on the exercises these days.  I'm lov'n my S on my chest for that's the way I feel in the gym "THANKS VEE!" 

I was a bit nervous still but after visiting Joe, I'm confident once again that things are shaping out the way they're suppose too.   My journey is almost reality to compete in my very FIRST OCB competition this year!!!  By the 25th I should be even tighter and really stomp'n with the BIG DAWGS ...lol

I can't say this was easy for then I would be a liar!  Nothing but hard hard work and I should've been so much better by now but I'm human.  Slipped up and extra nuts and meats even a few cookies hit the lips and feel down my throat.  I paid for each and every one for I slowed down progress and had to fight that much harder to get where I am today.  So, in a nutshell ITS NOT WORTH IT!!! 

Tonight will hit the gym and do upper body before resting and get cracked open tomorrow with LEGS... drats

Lets see what next week holds for me.

Up and did over 200 ab exercises... 

Last nights workout was very intensed and good.  Had spotters and put in the work.  Let me say how SORE I am this morning though.  Had to double up yesterday on cardio sessions and will pump last one for this week during lunch hour.  Had to shift around/double up sessions due to having a full weekend schedule.  Cardio must be done for the week no matter what.  No time for slacking now, I'm in FULL THROTTLE BABY!

Weight dropped 5 pounds since Sunday and all from these CHUNKY THIGHS!  I'm excited to know that the diet and hard azz leg routines are paying off!  GO HAMEED (trainer)!!!  My bunz been on fire since last SATURDAY and I don't think they'll ever be the same at this point.. LOL  Hurt to think about getting up or sitting down.  

Today I will just hit posing class and then home to REPEAT cooking of meats/veggies/carbs.  Pack food for Saturday and get ready for 5:30 a.m. LEG workout before hitting the road to see ZEE MAN himself a/k/a "MR JOE" in the flesh.. LOL

RISE AND SHINE!!!  Up and did over 200 ab exercises...  Excited that I get more carbs today.  Definitely sounds like an outdoor cardio day for me.

Last night did LEGS and surprisingly wasn't as weak as I imagined being on my 3rd medium carb day.  Those exercises were hard as heck for legs crush me every single time.  I was sweating on my 2nd set of squats.. *head low*  Oh well, I got it all done and received a HIGH 5 at the end for doing a dam good job.  Those pull-ups and pullovers were murda!!!  I see more separation and the belly of my hamstrings coming out more and more.  This stuff is crazy!!

Energy level is still pretty good, sleeping 5 out of 7 days good and getting all my cardio done.

Tonight I will do my Fridays upper body workout to free up my Friday evening after meeting with posing coach.  Especially since I have 5:30 a.m. LEG workout Saturday morning before hitting the road to Jersey.  I just hope my buns allow me to sit for 4.5 hours.  Whether stop for stretching or not...

Cardio:  Intervals on treadmill
Exercise: BACK action
Food:  Not noticing the lower carbs or fat at all.

Im feel'n  pretty amazing and hope this feeling don't fade anytime soon.  I need to stay strong for the next month to be the BEST ME I can be on stage...!

Hello Tuesday...  What a 4th of July week that was.  I was off for about 5 days and boy was I losing it.  Pickles mustard salt all that stuff is poison to my body.  Just bloats me like a log.

Back on track and plus was able to rest for a few days, so I was fresh to death on Monday.  I went into the gym and lifted feeling strong and good.  Did cardio during lunch hour and knocked out my abs before leaving the house.  I'm doing a little over 200 mixed ab workouts now.  Just wakes me up in the a.m. get the blood moving.

Yesterday the delts and biceps were on blast and burned all the way through my routines. 

Today I get to do some serious BACK action!  Might take a nice jog along the water instead of doing sprints on the treadmill.

Body feel and look good...  I think I FINALLY might have this thing under control.  Hopefully because in 5 short weeks it'll all come together for the stage.  Was excited as I went this past Sunday to ge fitted for 4 suits.  That's right 4...!!!  This isn't the 1st and only time they'll be seeing this CHICK.  No way!!!  Lets see what I can do over the years before I turn 50 ;-)

More Holiday Foods to Avoid :-(

Up early knocked out various abs, hit shower, dressed, ate and bounced to work I go...

Last night I had a very good workout.  Did my delts and triceps and challenged myself which I've never felt much like doing before.  Did wind sprints at work on the treadmill was drenched.  Decided to do them without fan blowing on me. 

Tonight I go and do my Back and cardio at my gym.  Getting off early and don'twant to hang around any longer than I have too ..lol

ITS A NEW DAY/MONTH!!

Up and did the abs.... 

Wasn't able to get Fridays weight in so I did them Sunday. 

Didn't workout Saturday (legs) but that will be made up.  Attended a wedding.  I did get in my cardio (Friday) and started the new LOWER carb regimen as well. 

Today I'll hit my Shoulders/Triceps and do some high cardio.  I'm fading fast and trying to stay focus.  Not the exercises that's bothering me.  I just WANT STUFF SO SO BAD..  Went to a wedding and was able to pass up cake, fried foods and various finger snacks.  Had my food prepacked and people were definitely checking me out!!!  Once asked I told them I eat MY FOOD ONLY along with intense exercise/weight lifting = ME!  :-) 

6 weeks to go before showtime on the 11th of Aug.  Will I make it hmmmmm my fat legs will have to take a serious beatdown....!  Separations are starting to appear slowly but surely, I must admit.  But that cottage cheese on the back is ever so slight but I KNOW ITS THERE!!!! 

Feel'n strong, sexy and satisfied but there's so much work still to be DONE.

Up and did over 150 ab exercises, my norm.  Then grab meals and bounced off to work.

Here feeling good.  Wasn't tired this morning and slept very well.  Slight headache not sure what to make of that but I'm happy that's important.

Doing hour of posing with coach today and then will knockout my upper chest and biceps.  Off Saturday which would be LEGS but have wedding to attend.  Will definitely get in cardio today and tomorrow.  Might can make up LEGS on Sunday will see.

Temps going to hit 100 today, so will stay hydrated and just basically take it easy.

Lost a few 1/2 inch all over and a pound or so.  Just want my legs to get where they need to be and I'll straight.

HELLO BEAUTIFUL THURSDAY!!!  I so missed you.... weeeeeee  "off day"

Last night was a doozy!  LEGS always crush me but I push through each and every exercise because I need these hamstrings/calves to SHOW UP SOON!

Wasn't beatdown or worn out this time afterwards either.  Tired yes but not drained...  I'm normally drained after legs.  Glad to have that feeling even though I woke up this morning and bent down to knock out abs and body was cracking up...  *lawdy*  I stretched and proceeded again and it was much better but Im sore again!!!!

This is a low carb day for me but I plan to do a light jog for about an hour outdoors.  Hopefully no cramping will occur in the msucles and I can get to the water and back.  Also, running with a coworker this round just in case. 

I am hungry soon as I eat..  I mean its all of 8 spoonfuls of food and then nothng.  I love the fact that almonds are in my life again.  I think this thing will be okay afterall.  Especially after the 25th LOL  I need a TREAT bad!!!!

Hello Wednesday (27th of June 2012)

I'm saying hello, but wish I was saying goodbye at least to the workout to come...  *blank stare*  Ok, no time to turn into wuss mode, so with that being said its LEGS tonight....

Jumped up full of energy and did various ab exercises.  Last night was touch and go because I was starving around 10.  I was trying to recall if I had all my meals which I did.  That shake even with oatmeal in it before the gym isn't good for me any longer.  It just does not hold me anymore.  I need all food....  Now how will I get it in is the questions before my workout.  Can't eat on metro....hmmmm  Might have to alter my eating times again.

Monday and Tuesday I've managed to get in the gym early enough and workout with the guys.  I rotate and get the reps done which they like.  No slowing down -- their go is my rest vice versa.  Veins be pop'n out my dam forehead, neck, chest, arm, and who know where else!!!  I know its part of the territory but dam so many...  grrrrr  Well, I'm being stopped on a regular bases now asking if I'm a personal trainer or just what do I do.. LOL  Makes me smile within because the hard work is obviously paying off.   I've only lost 13 pounds but it was nothing but fat!!!  Thanks for preserving my lean mass in the process...

I actually did some sprints on the treadmill yesterday.  No sign of pain in the left calf at all...  Also knocked out 30 minutes on the step mill.  Practice my posing every day until I get back to my coach on Friday.  He's going to be proud for I'm really getting and holding these poses which I'm actually surprising myself.  I never knew it was so many poses for bodybuilding and to make sure the striations are showing as you flex and hold is MURDER!!!! 

Today I'll take a run outdoors by the water again for cardio.  Will start doing a.m. cardio next month too if I can get up.  That way I can free up more of my evenings to relax after lifting and play with my puppy dog... :-)

Not sure when this fatty fat will free up my hamstrings/quads but I'm praying that its happening and I'm just not aware of it!!!!

Up knocked out over 160 abs and added some planks. 

I practice posing so much I dreamed about it.. 'OH NO!'  Holding those poses look quite easy but its a workout in itself...

Llast night's workout was great!  Got a freebie with my trainer for he was training delts and triceps too!  We dug in them and I was limping from an earlier cramp in my left calf from jogging, but hey that didn't stop me.  Veins pop'n out and grossing me out also seeing lots of muscle separation "finally." 

Tonight its all "back" and I feel the drain already.  6 weeks out and legs need to come on down...please

Up and did 120 abs against my will for sure, so tired, so tired....

Weekend was rough...  Friday after practicing posing for an hour had to lift.  Did my cardio during my lunch hour.  Up early Saturday to get in legs with trainer.  My energy level was extremely low....  Couldn't get 10 pullovers with 50lbs as I did on Wednesday.  Only was able to get 10, 6 and 8.   Struggled with 100 lbs doing sumo squats, this use to be another easy one for me.  I was able to get in all 3 sets of 15 but it wasn't easy.  Pullups I decreased in numbers as well 15, 12, 9.  Just felt as if I didn't have anything in my tank which I ate 45 minutes before the workout. 

Haven't lost a pound in weeks...  Holding in the mid-low150s and not sure if that's good or bad.  Eating accordingly to the plan with no treats.  This is discouraging but I'm going to continue the course and see what happens. Not as eager as I use to be but still trying to stay focused.  Feels like I'm fading fast  :-(

HELLO THURSDAY!  I welcome you with open arms after last night cruel cruel LEG workout.  Hurt so bad you can't do nothing but like it.. Sounds crazy but it works...  I talk to myself as I push through the pain... 

Up this morning with a slight headache but still managed to kick out 160 ab exercises...  Funny if you do so many sets of 20 the numbers just calculate up so fast.  :-)

Well last night trainer mixed me up with some pullups and pullovers to help my lats along.  He said I've gotten so much stronger that he's impressed with my progress.  I thanked him as he lead me to the Smith Machine for yet more squats :-(

I can see major changes in my legs.  Separation is coming in better and the belly of the hammie is right there...  8 more weeks and I'm fighting for this...  *shaking my head in disbelief* 8 more weeks.... man.

Might go for a moderate low jog during lunch time.  Then Friday after workout I can shower and go to bed early only to get beatup again Saturday morning...

Oh well Kudos to me for making it this far....  WOOO HOOO!!!

Well temps suppose to hit 99-100 degrees today.  Won't be running outdoors but so want too!  Up and did over 150 ab exercises...  A breeze now that the core is so much stronger.

Yesterday did back and a fellow gym rat chimed in to assist me, so I was able to go a bit heavier.  Boy what a difference a spotter makes!!!!  Got through and my back and arms were burning!!!  So glad I ran for an hour during lunch time and I just loaded up bag and bounced for home/food...

Body is changing and not sure if i'm retaining water or gaining a lil mass.  Any hoot today's LEG day and I'm drained thinking about what's to come.  Not only will I get beat up but still have to do cardio... 
Meeting today will not allow the usual run/gym time.  Oh well...

Up and did over 140 various ab exercises.   This helps me actually wake up :-)

Weekend was good no yo-yoing in the weight finally.  Staying focused and locking down for I only have 8 weeks to get this right. 

Saturday was LEGS and I didn't think they could get any harder "WRONG!"  Split lunges on smith machine to walking lunges with barbel on my back w/weights, leg exts, leg curls, squats on smith, squats off smith, etc.  The exercises aren't what hurts its all the freakn weights and the HIGH HIGH REPS!  AFter I finished I still had to knockout cardio!  Where did I ever get strength to ride the bike and run *blank stare*...

Sunday up and did some wind sprints for almost 2 miles!!!  Then sped walked for 1/2 mile and finished out with a light light jog doing 4 miles in all...  Body felt GOOD & STRONG!  Awesome is all I can say.... 

Lets see what today holds with CHEST & BICEPS...

Up did various ab exercises....

Yesterday was a very welcoming day of peace.  I need to just exhale for everything is speeding right by.  8 weeks and its stage time.  Where did all the time go.  I'm very concerned for I don't think I'm close to being ready.  Hopefully after meeting Joe, I'll have a better outlook on reality of competing this upcoming August.  *fingers crossed*

Tonight Chest/Biceps.  My lats/biceps and shoulders are sore from all the pullups on Wednesday.  I'm determined so cardio run during lunch time.  Meeting posing coach after work and then hitting weights only to do it all again tomorrow....  HELP....  *serious face*  Gotta get it in!

WOOO HOOO!!!!  Not workout today at all..  Will REST REST AND THEN REST some more!!!

Yesterday, I did LEGS with my trainer and he's put some stank on those freak'n exercises!  He's also split my legs exercises for 2 days and incorporated more pull-ups/pull-overs to bring out my lats more...  I'm STRONGER than I thought I was that's for sure!!!  I be struggling or at least think I'm struggling but push the exercises right out!  So proud of myself ONCE COMPLETE...LOL  I'm lighter and have more energy these days!  Go Figure!  Will continue to stand strong and do my best in whatevers thrown my way!  Need to be conditioned and tight on stage!  I want this and now its starting to SHOW!

Last night's workout was really good. I worked out with one of the guys.  Pushed me over my norm and that's what I loved.  Then went home and did posing practice.  That's exercises in itself and boy does it make the body ach...

What a weekend...!  Not sure what my trainer is doing to me but after posing coach had me holding poses for minutes at a time, I was so sore I couldn't think straight Saturday morning.  Then to get to regular weight training with all my muslces aching and do the squats, lunges, etc. I thought I was just pass out!!!!  Did leg press with legs closed to get the side separation you know the belly of the hamstrings going deeper..  Just shoot me now... I want this becauseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....  Ummmm I'm broke and then cardio.  My body isn't liking me right about now.. LOL

I sure hope somethings happening for I can't tell.  I'm sick of people seeing me as skinny also.  I GOT SOME STUFF is what I'm about to start saying!  LOL

Well, today is my off gym and low carb day *head hanging low.*  

Did legs last night and my trainer done LOST his ever loving mind, seriously.  Please don't tell me what I'm squatting or pressing for it'll mess my thought of concentration all up...  230+ on my back with bar squatting is enough to hurt me just saying it...  All my body parts hurt, nothings good right now..lol  My legs are doing some amazing things as the fat shed, I actually see good muscle tone "WHO KNEW!" 

Riding this thing out til I compete in August... Aiming for the 11th being 1st show.  I don't want to be average but right!!!  If I'm not right, no rush, I can wait.  My journey continues...

Meeting with posing coach starting this Friday...  Another task to my already super long list as I live life to its fullest!!!

I'M HUNGRY not sometimes but ALLLLL THE FREAK'N TIME.  I shouldn't be clock watching strictly to eat.!   Ok reloading my mind to focus... :-)

Legs like to have KILLED me last night.  I was so broke at the end of the squats that no cardio was able to be done.  Had to regroup in a hot tub and will knock cardio out during lunch time.

I'm actually scared to think what SATURDAY another leg day holds.  This man has lost his ever lov'n mind!!

Well a new day...  Up early to knock out abs.
Last night's workout was hard but very good.  I take my time training myself on upperbody to feel the burn.  Finished up with cardio and bounced.

Tonight its legs.  Breathe breathe breathe...  lol  Legs drain me for days but i'm definitely becoming stronger during each session.   Fighting for what I need and boy is it ever a fight!

Rains making me sleepy but other than that I'm good....

Wow can't believe we're about to enter into JUNE already.  Up early listening to the birds sang as I did abs. 

Saturday legs crushed me but I made it through.  That blasted fool is trying to kill me.  Talking about "we have to up the anny..."  I think I was holding stuff and didn't care... LOL  Glutes were on "FIRE!" 

Truly a blessing for strangers to come up to me and commend me on my fitness.  I humbly smile and thank them as I keep that in my pocket for the days when I'm dying trying to get through a particular workout!

Up and crushed abs over 100 bicycles alone this time.

Rested very well yesterday.  Diet switch up must be paying off.  Lost a few pounds and still have my size "yay"...  Gym this evening for CHEST & BICEPS.... 

Will be in the gym faithfully over the 3-day holiday.  Need to keep my mind off food might have to workout Sunday geesh.  Summer is fast approaching and all the bbq smells are driving a sistah batty!!!!  Will stand firm for September I have some stored away frozen bbq burgers just for me!!!  hahahaha

Well well well, I'm off today but still did some abs. 

Wednesday legs was a killer!  Trainer gave me kudos for how strong I've gotten.  Heck all those plates on the leg press all I could do was close my eyes and pray for the best!!!  lol  Walking lunges and deep heavy "Azz" squats too..  Man my legs are about to be on blast!!! Hammies are finally showing when I lift leg backwards.  YAY!  I got some stuff and its freak'n me out!!!  lol

Today is rest day and trust me, rest I shall do....  Low carb day as well.  Feeling pretty pumped for now.  Hopefully it'll last throughout the day :-)

Well been a few days since I blogged.  Gathing my composure dealing with these HIGH/MED/LOW carb days.

I did manage to spring up and knock out my abs daily.  Most of the time I'm doing over 100 bicycles,crunches, etc. easily.   I just mix it up to make it more challenging.

Wondering why I'm falling asleep at my desk today and realized that I'm doing a medium carb day, when I should be doing a high since I'm training legs this evening.  I'm so in trouble!!!  Will drink a shake before I leave work today after my 3rd meal.  My pre/post meals are right on point though.  Hopefully that'll take care of it somewhat. 

Diet switched on Monday...  Hmmm  I was fine Monday and Tuesday but today I'm feeling tired and sleepy.  Not sure if its the lower carbs or the weather really.  Funny thing is once I leave work and hit the gym my energy level zooms up to the ceiling.  Even when doing cardio which I'm dreading now.  Will do more wind sprints over the holiday weekend.  Did some Sunday and felt amazingly strong and long winded.  :-)

Now if my legs just pay attention and do what they're suppose to do 'GET RIPPED' I'll be just fine :-)

Up and knocked out over 120 ab exercises.

Yesterday gym worked out triceps and delts...  Took my time and went up 5lbs in most exercises..  Laterall delt side lifts with 20lbs burns like the dickens but i managed to do them all.  Did 45 minutes of cardio 20 minutes of high burning intervals and fell off Arc trainer to go home and eat :-)

Tonight Back and biceps.. I'M READY!!!  Body is looking more and more like a BB these days..

I start posing classes in June...  12 weeks and I'm on stage!  Mind boggling but need to represent!

Up did over 100 abs needed to feel the burn.

Chest and biceps today.  Need to dig deep or hopefully the strength/energy will be there once I hit gym.  This rainy Monday is sure putting a damper on me.

Up hit floor and did abs getting ready for leg workout.

Leg workout was the beast!  I was doing step-ups on that big evil wooden block!!!  Front squats with 35lb plates sometimes stacked on top of each other.  Sumo squats with the bar and I told him do not tell me the pounds I was lifting.  I thought my traps were going to stay erect after lifting...  Did various other leg work and then was done after 50 minutes of torture...ugh

Ran on the treadmill for 45 minutes and bounced...

Sunday much needed rest on MOTHER'S DAY :-)

Been doing at least 100-110 abs every other morning.  This morning no different.

I'm shrinking but gaining crazy strength.  I start eating and then I'm done less than 10-15 minutes flat. :-( 

Yesterday's workout was really good.  Triceps were on 'FIRE'....  Did cardio blast by riding the bike for 45 minutes but did intervals.  Tonight get to rest without getting weights, etc. for its Leg night with my trainer.  Dam *head hanging low* because legs drain me but I get through.  My quads are looking more and more better with the separation appearing more stronger.  Hammies are tighter and waiting for the separation on the sides to come in more.  Overall I'm good but I'm very sad and evil on low carb days...  Speaking of which mine is tomorrow  :-(

These days FOOD is more serious than I would've ever thought.  I need ALL my meals.  Keep the shakes and bars and give me straight FOOD!!!!  hahaha  Yes, right now I'm considered greedy!!!  Need all my protein/carbs and veggies!!!  That's on the real!

My trainer Hameed this dude is the TRUTH!  He worked my legs until they were noodles...  I mean he simply told me it was time to turn it up!  Well hell he turned it up alright!  I'm looking forward to seeing some serious changes by end of month if not before then.

Workout was good.  Did cardio and then off for food and bed.  Up super early Saturday for a 5:30 a.m. training LEG session.  Thought I was going to die but all went well.  Just still sore as hell but other than that its all good.

Up and knocked out 100 abs just because...

Last night did LEGS with trainer.  Googlie Freak Gooo that man is crazy!!!  Had me rep'n out and my legs felt like noodles!!!  Those sumo squats up to 100 lbs but slow.  I was look'n for something to fall on after I was done.  Legs press up to 6 plates on each side but high reps...  Why why why!  I'm get'n every single exercise/weight and he's lov'n it.  I think he's geek'n off my strength...hahahahahaha 

TODAY IS "REST" day for me baby!  Nothing will be going on especially with 90 carbs for the entire day!   Leave the the heck alone, seriously.  I feel MEAN ...lol

Overall strength is surging and look'n dam good...

Last night did the back and triceps.  I'm still feeling that workout, seriously.  Good stuff.

Cardio like to have killed me doing 45 minutes but I held strong.  Need to be outside running doing wind sprints verses inside on those boring machines.  Will make that happen very soon.

Tonight legs... Geesh here comes step-ups freak.  I hate them with a passion but know its part of the package.

Today is BACK day...  Weather is shaping up to be warm and that means outdoors for cardio!  Oh yeah here I come!!!

Hit gym and got in my Delts/Triceps..  Boy oh boy does those thing burn burn burn.. Veins pop'n out of skin and I'm looking at myself saying "who's this person...."  hahahaha 

Hit bike and did 40 minutes with 20 minutes of it being intervals.  I thought I was about to pass out at one point.. LOLOLOL  Soak to the bone as I fell off to get out of there and get some FOOD!!!

Bottom line is I really felt strong and good..  Just hate cardio/bike!  lol

Weeeee made it to my off day!

Last night was brutal but doable.  I did those sumo squats with 100 lb weights.  That was the tip of the iceberg too!  Felt strong and invigorating!  Did cardio "high intensity" just because I could.  Never have this been accomplished on a leg day before lol.   When doing leg press I was up to 6 - 45 plates on each side on my 2nd set and this guy stopped and asked if he get just one set after me.  Said he didn't want to be shown up by a lady but he never went that high...dah   I've been training for a while and this strength in me didn't come over night.  I let him and he only made it up to 8...  I knocked off 20 loaded 2 more plates and did my last set.. LOL  BOY BEING FIT & STRONG FEELS SO DAM GOOD!!!!!  hahahahaha

Not sure what got me super sore but my wings (lats) are tight as ever!!!!  Had a few, yes a few of the trainers stretch me out last night.  One told me that myh body is getting rock hard.. Yes, I thanked him for the complement and told him please keep stretching lol...  This stuff is only for the STRONG WILLED because its NOT A GAME!!!  I can't say I don't love it because I'll be lying...  Hard work = progress and I need it all.  I keep telling myself that and its working....  Did cardio and bounced.

Tonight I must hit the legs and then do cardio.  Freak'n step-ups suck!!!  I'm dreading doing them before I even get to the gym but know the results of hard work... smh 

So happy to be OFF tomorrow I can scream!!!  Ha for JOY that is.. :0)

Up just 'BROKE' from workout last night..  Those delt/triceps were muuuurda!!!  Front and side raises I'm like I don't recall them putting it on me like this the next day.. LOL  I'm so sore I keep stretching and stretching .....  Wow that was some good stuff and I'm talking to my muscles all the way "grow muscles grow!"  Knocked out cardio for 45 minutes afterwards.  If one more person call me little I might LOSE IT!!! lol  Its only because I be covered up and they don't see what I'm working with *wink*

Weekend was slow for I worked out Friday and didn't get to the gym Saturday.  However, Sunday I was there and did my shoulders/chest along with 45 mins of high intensed cardio. 

Tonight I get to do delts/biceps with cardio blast. 

Getting things back in order and the junk blinders are on!!!  Have to think like a BODYBUILDER now..  Come on muscles!!!

Went down on my lunch hour and still did 20 minutes on stair mill along with some absbut that was it.

Up no abs today... 

Last night's workout "legs" was very intensed.  I couldn't believe I had me sweating like a pig as I focused more on walking lunges.  Had some guys in there trying to copy but were embarassed for what looks easy, really isn't.. hahahaha  They were leaning on machines with labored breathing.  I chuckled inside and kept doing my thing.  Its crazy how the strength kicks in and you don't really know when it happened. 

I will hit cardio during my lunch hour.  Stair mill time! 

Tonight I have "BACK/SHOULDERS"...  Love doing anything with back and upper...  :-)

Went running earlier (2.5 miles).  2 showers back-2-back seemingly is tiresome.. lol 

Now once I get off I'm heading for gym to get my legs done.  Not looking forward to it but of course it is a must.  Once I get there I'm sure all will change.  Those lunges/deadlifts and extensions just hurts me to think about them...

Late working week for me, so I'm focusing on doing cardio at work.  Then once I get home I can hit gym for an hour to do weights and be done. 

I ran 3.5 miles yesterday easily.  Wasn't winded or strugging at any point.  Did it within 35-40 minutes tops.

Last night was first go at it and it worked out perfectly.  Did Chest/Arms and bounced.  Feeling good and looking better.  Hard work = nice changes.

Did all my upper body and cardio.  Feel'n strong and good.  Energy level is climbing which is a good thing.  Not drained after my workouts.  That's important to maintain a somewhat normal lifestyle.

Up early knocked out 100 abs exercises.

Gym time went well.  I had legs and by me going solo for the next 2 weeks I had to be smart in choosing my weights.  I did all that I thought were actually too heavy, wasn't quite heavy at all.  My trainer was looking as he trained someone else and gave me the thumbs up.  Said I was definitely stronger and more stable with walking lunges and bar/weights now.  I did my leg extensions and my curls, etc.  Felt so good at the end...  Yes yes yes..  Bring it!

Mental note to self:  get better camera for pictures this upcoming Friday.  My camera isn't getting the actual body cuts and that's important.  Vee is about to put me on the map and take my photos from here on!!! YAY

Love the one arm DB rows..  My back thanks you!  Those push ups with the bar is no joke!  The pull ups are even more murder as the shoulders were burning, then when I went to do my delts I was hoping someone would just hold me.. LOLOL  AS I said before over and over to the ladies that admire my body.. 'THIS IS NOT A GAME!'  You must do the time if you want to shine...  I'm so trying to shine!!!!

Happy as a fat kid with cake today, since its my REST DAY... weeeeeee  Still end up going to gym with Vee and doing cardio.  So this cardio session just cancelled Friday's session out which is fine.

Well I survived last night leg workout as I was solo...  I must did my thang for the guys were looking as if I lost my mind...  One dude he's huge and cut-up said I look very strong.. LOL  I told him it goes with the territory.  I did walking lunges and DB deadlifts with weight that I actually shocked myself with lol.  Its because I was use to being handed the weights to do and not thinking about it.  That's the beauty of a trainer.  Its all good for I did what I had to do.  Finished weights and hit cardio for 45 min session.  Boy I was done and couldn't wait to get food in me..  Life's good....

Tonight I do back/delts.  Hard hard workout for I hate delts but again.  I know what must be done.  So, with that being said it's a wrap!  ;-)

Up and did my abs to start the day off right.

Last night I did the arms/shoulders that like to have crushed me.  Have to push self harder to get what's needed.  Back to solo is no joke but I know I'm capable of getting it done. 

Tonight legs and that's the real challenge.  My trouble area would be lower and I must whip it into shape if I'm to complete as early as the 4th of August.  I see some separation and quad action but need those hammies to come on along for the ride.  Trainer is on hold til the 1st of May...  Job calls and mandatory overtime is in the future so I must do what I must..  Will be working out after 8pm next week as well.

Have to work for it, if you want it..  I'm working and working hard!

Today will be Chest & Arms again....  I will hit gym a little late to make sure its empty upon my arrival.  Then I can sail through my workout routine so much better with minimum folk in the way.

Sunday April 8 (REST DAY)

I was feeling antsy, so I went out and ran 3.5 miles, abs and then walked my pooch.

Resting all day after early workout Saturday gave me mad energy on Sunday to get rid of...  That less than 35 minute run did my mind, soul and spirit very good..  I did 1 mile of nothing but wind sprints which are excellent for the quads/hamstrings/calves. 

Felt like a million and 2 bucks afterwards.. lol

Did Chest & Arms...  That's one long workout routine but I did all that was listed.  All I could do afterwards was let my arms dangle freely by my sides...  LOL

Last leg workout session with trainer until May 1st.  Boy did he dig into those squats and lunges.  No pain, No gain!!!  I must gained three times as much in this one session because he tried and i do mean TRIED to break me.  To no avail I'm still standing.. LOL  A little lopsided but all the same, I'm up!  lol 

Did cardio and still went out and danced the night away! WOOOTY HOOOOO sore legs and all...

Up did 100 bicycles and now getting mind right for legs & cardio tonight.  Slow burn but I guess slow is better than no burn at all.  One day at a time.  I'm feeling good and definitely see my strength increasing.  Just want muscles to continue to grow as I lean out a bit.

Well the saga continues!!! 

Last night was a good strong leg workout for me.  One more session before I go back to solo until job trial is over.  By May 1st I should be back with trainer and really about to get dirty with it...

I showed Vee my pose for BB and she was really impressed with the quads.  Now the fat must come down on the hams so they can show.  Overall my energy level has improved as well as my strength.  I have ZERO complaints other than stuff just be hurting...LOL

Well, yesterday I did upper Arms/Chest and geesh.. is all I'm saying.  When I finally finished those sets I was dripping with sweat.  Goes to show folk that weights/lifting will have you burning some fat...

Did my 45 minutes of cardio and bounced. 

Tonight legs...  Shoot I can't even begin to feel tired because I know what's to come...  Pray for me!!!  lol

I'm so off today!!!  yay....  no gym, no cardio just relax and regroup.

Last night I did the upper shoulder/back.. Had people coming up to me saying how incredible my back looks...and how I'm really changing before their eyes.  I was very humbled yet extremely pleased.  Told them HARDWORK really pays off....  Those pullups like to have kicked my butt and I could only get out 4 sets of 3s!!!!  I'm sure as time go on I'll become stronger but geesh...  That mess is REAL!!!!  LOL

Up early but dragging a bit. 

Last night leg workout was awesome.  I can't believe I completed each exercise going beyond what I imagined myself doing.  Guys trying to make comments that I'm super strong on a slick tip.  Asked me if I needed the 80 lb weights after I finished lunging with the 50lbs.  I told them they need to step up their game and stop procrastinating and watching me!  LOL  They are joksters but its all good!  Wait til this bodyfat really come down and the veins scare them to eat more jelly donuts.. LOL

Tonight I do Back/shoulders...  So happy that Thursday is my rest day.  I look forward to those little breaks now.  Cardio is being done and food is on point.  I think I might finally found my nitch :0)

Hit gym and was only able to do HIGH intensity cardio.  Have to get back on track..  Drained from life but things are looking better already.

Did legs and finished that last routine on a high note.  My legs were noodles once done but the workout was excellent.

Wednesday, March 21st...

Up at 5 didn't sleep well for some reason....  Hit the deck and did 100 abs.

Today will be BACK / DELTS.  Will hit cardio and bounce.

Those deadlifts are no joke....  I did only up to 105lbs with the bar.  I wasn't trying to go too heavy but just enough.  This is one of my more easier days to workout which I enjoy.  Finished, hit elliptical and bounced.

Looking forward to my rest day Thursday.  Yes yes yes

Well up and ready for the day early.

Feel nice and strong.  Appetite is good and my energy level continues to excel.

My workout (legs) was amazing..  I tell you when I think I can't that's when I prove myself wrong wrong wrong.  Those walking lunges are a piece of cake now even with 35/40 lb weights.  Not saying they don't burn like the dickens because then I'd be lying!!! (OUCH)

I don't cry any longer when I do the split lunges either.  Just suck it up and get deep..  I'm growing by leaps and bounds.  I can do up to 6 chest dips.  They're different and harder than the regular dips. 

I sure hope some serious magic is happening!  My legs are my biggest issue as was Nancys.  That's where I hold all my fatty fat..lol  They've made tremendous changes already and its still March!  So I'm hoping its like "LOOK OUT" by mid May!!! lol

Up did 100 abs ate and bounced.

Not tired at all.  Those extra few days made a huge difference.  CHEST & ARMS today..  I'm ready to get at em. 

Energy level is back up and my body is amazing.   Not sure how I feel about all these veins popping out everywhere though.. LOL  I'm learning to embrace them for bodybuilders are vascular and that I am..  ((hugs)).

Abs to start the day...

Tonight are Back & Delts.  I can't wait to get this over and hit light cardio before being free until Friday.

Thursday is off day and now I'm starting to look forward to the resting period more and more. 

I'm hungry more and its crazy because as I'm eating I be thinking of next meal.. LOL  Is that normal or me just being greedy.  Separation is still forming in the legs and I can't wait til its complete.  SHORTS from then on!  lol

Did 100 abs and headed out.

Overall feel strong and food goes way too fast for me..  

Trained with Vernetta last night.  We did legs with my trainer and let me just say I was DRAINED and so was she when we were done!  Nothing like a good strong hard workout and the legs drain me every single time. 

Tomorrow BACK & DELTS light cardio before going down for the count.

Up and hit the abs....

Hit gym Saturday and had a very good workout.  Chest & Arms which is a breeze for me now.

Monday hit the gym and workout with buddy Vernetta!  Man, we pushed each other and boy it was good stuff...  Did high intensity cardio and I was feel'n right...  LOL 

Tonight (TUESDAY) we are doing LEGS together with my trainer, since her trainer is injured.  I told her get ready because this dude is straight mad when it comes to legs...  I be hating him while doing them but my legs are coming in very nicely!!!!

Up and did 100 abs along with 3 sets of pushups to failure.

Feel so good and strong these days.  Lil body is shaping up quite nicely..  Muscles on the grow, what can I say.  Hard work is the only way to do it...  It really pays off...

Pray for me tonight for I have LEGS..  I'm getting better but the pain, the pain..  I just suck it up and do the darn things...  lol

Wow morning already...  Up no abs just about 15 minutes of long long stretching...

Last night I did cardio before doing legs.  I must been stuck on stupid because those leg exercises drained me to NO return!!!  I struggled but got them all in and correct.  This stuff is NO JOKE -- especially when doing right and going heavier.  Those CARBS certainly help by giving me the energy that was needed.  I could tell when I do not get enough before training.  Now I see the importance in getting them in. 

I did those walking lunges with 50 addtional pounds + the 45lb bar on my shoulders!!  I thought to myself, "Oh hell, I'm going down and not coming back up for sure!"  LOL  Nooooot even.  I now have very strong legs, so now I believe.... 

I left ate, showered and fell into bed... 

Tonight I do BACK/DELTS... No cardio just off to relax and so happy tomorrow is THURSDAY (OFF DAY).  YAY!

Up and did pushups til failure..  Ouch Ouch Ooooch is all I'm saying.  Triceps are burning from last night's workout.  Chest & Arms went slow but very well.  I actually know what I'm doing.. LOL 

After the weights I hit the treadmill for an intensed run...  Beautiful is all I'm saying :0)

Tonight LEGS lawdy pray for me now..  Those darn walking lunges and squats crush me every single time.  Don't get me wrong, I do them and with excellent form.  That's why they hurt so bad!!!! 

Legs are looking pretty good and I see some separation FINALLY coming in.  There is light at the end of the tunnel.. LOL

Rested well yesterday.  End up doing some fun Xbox dances for an hour with sisters.  That thing is a low cardio workout for me.  lol  I was sore and wanted to keep moving to get through it already.

This morning no abs just pushups and stretches...  My lower body is still aching from those legs on Tuesday and sure enough here the day is again for Legs (TONIGHT)...sigh 

I'm not afraid just will work through the soreness until its no more.  Suck it up and do what I must.  Tired but not from anything other than everyday living.  No complaints..  :0)

Back & Delts last night.  Cranked those out with no problem other than my lower body was fighting for me to sit down..  All night it felt like dead weight..  Had to get in 40 minutes high intensity cardio and that I did.  Was so proud of myself... 

Tonight, I rest and get ready for another leg day beatdown... grrr  

*Keep telling myself  "you're much stronger than the average lady..." so get it done!*

Ok, up and knocked out 100 different abs.

Workout last night was vicious.  Worked out with gym brother and I kept looking at my quads waiting to see the actual smoke!!!  That man took each exercise and made it lethal...  I was like...  Why am I training with you again.. grrrrrr

That had me limping to my truck.. Glutes/hammies and quads were on fire.  I haven't felt like that since training a few years back with my cousin.  Well, I tell you what, its on now!!!  I'm seeing him again this Friday to do it not as heavy but all over again...  Can't say Woo Hoo because I'm dam scared.. LOL

Today I'm feeling good a tad bit sore still when I get up and sit down but other than that.. on point!

Doing BACK & DELTS this evening with law cardio.  Couldn't do cardio yesterday because I barely made it to my truck and got in....  :-O

Starting new routine..  Chest dips like to have broken my poor lil chest open.. LOL   I managed once I got familiar with the technique...  Boy this stuff isn't as easy as it seems.  Love it though..  Finished up rest of CHEST & ARMS and then hit cardio!!!

No sleep last night...  Lost my pet of 9+ years.  Mind racing for the moment. 

Today is LEG day.. Somebody help me please...!  Trying to get my mind right for these step-ups.  I bought some weight straps hopefully that'll make it easier to hold the weights. 

Actually looking forward to gym time today.  Need to relieve some stress...  and focus once again.

Up at 5 and did 4 sets of 25 different ab exercises.  Mixed it up a bit.  My core is definitely stronger now.

Hit gym yesterday for Chest & Arms.  I had to hold my head in my hands for a minute inbetween doing chest presses.  Weigths are heavier and I might need a trainer to assist.  I just do 5 then break then do 7 more.  I do that once I get up to 50+ (45 lb bar).  I can definitely get more on chest days done but not alone.  Might be checking into getting a trainer to assist me soon.

Body was happy to be finished and ran on treadmill for a high intensity cardio burn.  All good...  I dashed out the gym, ran an errand and then home to my lovely food...  Why does it go so fast! :0(

Strength is up; Nutrition is better; Spirit is soaring!

Tues, Feb. 21st

Well today I have Chest & Arms.  (High intensity cardio day)

Can't believe this is the last of 4 weeks already!

Retained some water weight from Sunday's treat meal.  Also, measured waist wrong.. LOL  Gave myself almost 3 additional inches.  I was done.  Come to find out I was measuring the lower portion of my abs (way below the belly button).  Smart me...  lol

I see my quads are coming out more.  Now need to dig into those HAMSTRINGS for a complete BB package!
Monday, Feb 20th - HOLIDAY

Hit gym around 1:30 ish

Did my LEGS which I thought I was going to blank out..  Those step ups are cruel and 20 on each leg 3 times... nooooooooo!

Did cardio and raced home for food...
Sun - off (treat meal - salad/chicken) at Fridays!!

Sat. Feb 18th

Friday's workout was cool.  Did Chest & Arms. 

Been doing bicycles on a regular for abs and mixing up with other ab exercises twice sometimes 3 times a week.  Definitely beneficial because my cores much stronger and I ccan do more core exercises like crunches while holding onto the pullup bar...!!!

Slept late Saturday and then rolled out of bed to do Back & Delts.

All is going well.  Not feeling tired but just miss my sugar ...lol  Fruit is doing it for now. 

Sunday is rest day.. HOORAY!  :0)

Up at 5 am
Did the eating thing and bounced.

So busy at work I was unable to get in all my meals.  Tried making some up with protein shake and shake/banana.  Carbs are a must for energy.  I was slowing down as I drove home after work.  I had to pop my food container open and eat as I traveled down the beltway.  Instant energy boost but knowing I was going to workout, I was only able to eat 1/2 the food.  I went to gym 45 minutes later.  Didn't want to belch food... *not even...*

Workout was LEGS tonight which I dread because they usually drain me.. (shaking)

Well, low and behold my "GYM" brothers & fitness sistah (Vee) pushed me right though the step-ups.  I had to tweak the leg extensions.  Our leg extension machine is broken.  So Vee remind me about holding the weights between my foot, lower and extending them straight out while sitting on edge of bench.  OMGoodness...  that's ole school and I use to do them when I had my old trainer.  The burn in the quads came like instantly!  I did the 4 sets of 12 and did 15 (joke), 20, 20 then 30 pounds.  Some hogger had the 25lbs...*dam them...*  lol  All my weights have gone up..  Its not even a month yet.  Pretty soon I'll need to train with the guys, so they can stack the weights.  Getting the weights and returning them is a workout in itself! 

All the time while I'm doing sumo squats with 90lbs DB I'm talking to myself saying "grow quads, grow!"  The burn is crazzzzzzzzzzzy!!!

My food isn't going as smooth as I would like.  I prepare and then don't want it.  Need to find more variety that fits in the macronutrient circle.  Like a low fat pizza on low carb roll with chicken. LOL

After Saturdays workout I was looking forward to today.   Legs and those step-ups.  Whoever thought about those things need to take them back!  OUCH

Much needed rest from gym but not from kitchen.  I think I'm a Chef but never was aware before now.  LOL

Food is beautiful but this measuring is killing me.  Definitely can't switch up anything much at the last minute.  I'm trying to get better but this here will take some time.

Rested well.  Was up and in the gym by 6:40 a.m.

Today all attention on the LEGS (much needed).

I bust through my LEG workouts for I'm definitely gaining strength, but those STEP-UPS are cruel lol

All eyeballs on me as I did my leg presses.  I'm ONLY up to 410..  Is it because I'm a lady :-) 

Sumo DB Squats, I'm up to 80 lbs.  Need a weight guy just to give me my weights..LOL I miss that in my trainer!  I just stood there and he gave me the weights...

Thank you for low cardio days!  LOL

All exercises went well and I upped some by 2.5 to 5 lbs.  Definitely felt a different burn.

Up at 5

Felt tired this morning.  Its the overtime and the late workouts for this week.  One more day.  Last night I did chest, delts and high cardio.  Love lifting and I upped the weights on the chest press 5 lbs more.  Reminding myself as I life "easy does it, no need to be superwoman when I have good time ahead of me."   

Amazing how a little water weight flushed from your body makes it look harder.  People are starting to ask questions "what are you doing, eating, etc."  I smile and let them know you can get some, but it isn't easy!  LOL  That normally send them retreating, especially when weights are mentioned.  Most are lazy and do not care to put in the work.  Just want the bodies.. LOL  Keep telling them it doesn't come in a magic "bottle." 

Tonight is my off day yay!  I will be in bed early and hoping to feel more energetic and refreshed in the a.m.

FRIDAY 2/3/2012

Up at 5 a.m.

Thursday night workout went well.  Hardest part to me were the step-ups.  I'm sure its because after the leg presses (up to 360 easy) and the extension I was tired once I got to them.  Still banged out  3 sets using 15, 20 then 25 lbs DBs.  Yes, the burn was there...  Everything else was good but nice smooth and easy.

Strength still there not feeling drained.  No cardio... 

Ate post meal, showered and beddie bye!!!

Tonight just cardio. 

Chest/Arms Saturday, then Monday start routine all over....

5 a.m. rise and shine... 

Woke up hit floor and pushed out 100 bicycles.  Abs thanking me.  Working "legs" tonight.  Can't wait..  Body is definitely changing for the better.  Menu is on point now.  Lets see where this goes from here.  Just think its not even a week yet.  Amazing as I eat better and get my rest.  Body is responding in positive ways like giving me more energy and shaping out as the water weight continues to leave...  Good riddens!!!

Make up day for legs I missed Monday.  Just noticed I have legs again tomorrow..  Might have to skip Friday and rest then get at chest/arms on Saturday.  Then start the routine all over again Monday. :-)

Back/Delts today. 

5a.m. woke up well rested.  Did 100 bicycles before showering.  Ate breakfast as I rolled down the highway 1st meal in tow.   

Worked back and delts.  Lat pulldowns w/grip; BB Bntover rows; Close lat pulldowns; DB press and Front Raises...  Oh yes.  I'm love'n this :-)

After workout didn't feel drained.  Cardio then out!
Drank a shake and headed home.

CHEST & ARMS

Up at 5a.m.  Excited about my day and my 1st workout. 

1st workout went well.  I did "dips" for the 1st time on my own!!! yay...  10, 8, 8...  No more assisted dips for this girl... lol

Diet finally coming together..  Thanks too Vee!!!  lol
